The Palm FXr is a simple and yet fully functional whitewater vest. With many features it offers greatest safety reserves. It is the right choice especially for people in a leading role or with a guiding function in respect to packrafting.
A unique feature is especially the UCLan chest strap. The adjustment of the harness is not done via the clamping buckle but by a special ladder buckle made of aluminium, which is attached to the side. To put on the life jacket it is no longer necessary to open the clamping buckle. This gives you three adjustment possibilities on the sides and two on the shoulder straps.

For the additional weight (compared to other life jackets) you get some safety features, which also allow active rescue situations:
- UCLan-harness belt with quick/panic release
- Aluminuim recovery ring (e.g. for live bait)
- Failsafe shoulder straps remain intact even under extreme forces, rated 3,2kN
- 3D Anti Ride-up hip belt lies on the full width of the harness for better pressure distribution in rescue situations
- Large, divided front pocket with zipper for earplugs, knife, throw line or similar things
- Extremely solidly tested shoulder buckles made of aircraft grade aluminium adjustment hardware
- Cowtail parks on both sides with open D-rings
The vest also offers protection during passive rescue operations:

Despite the many functions and the increased weight, the life jacket is still suitable for touring, but in the first place for packrafter whoe seek out more extrem situations.
