KWARK Gen. 2 Skinny Pants made from Windbloc/Aquashell fabric are a great alternative to classic neoprene pants or PU fleece because of their high breathability. The pants are comfortable to wear both in dry and wet conditions. That makes them a real multisport clothing, whether on the bike, in the snow or on the water, as underwear or worn separately. Especially in colder seasons the pants are not only for paddling but also for cross country skiing and mountainbiking.
Windbloc/Aquashell is our recommendation for typical land-water adventures, as the compromise of thermal performance, weight, comfort and drying time for both scenarios is very well done.
Features
- special cut for seating and pre-shaped knees
- short zippers at lower legs for an easy on and off
- high elasticity for a comfortable wearing
Please note
These pants are not suitable for direct and extended stay in very cold water such as diving, swimming etc.. For this applications we recommend the combination with dry pants or a drysuit - but then you have the ultimate combination as cold water protection.
Material- /Manufacturer-Info
Aquashell is a triple-layer laminate where a windproof and breathable membrane is placed between a soft inner layer and a resistant and sleek outer layer. The pants keep your legs dry by drawing sweat and moisture to the outer surface of the membrane. Even under pressure the moisture is not able to go back and your legs stay dry and warm.
Aquashell is resistant and durable, it is easy to wash (not in a bubble washing machine – it would spoil the membrane), it dries fast and does not get a bad smell. The fabric is elastic and soft, too. The pants are comfortable and well fitting. They have no bungee cords that could pinch or block the blood flow.
