The Hiko Shade Plush LS is a multifunctional top for year-round use. The "Plush" finish on the inside creates an insulation layer which keeps the body warm if it's worn under a jacket and at the same time allows sweat to evaporate, thus ensures a balanced heat balance regardless of weather conditions. Its pleasant wearing comfort is particularly noticeable directly on the skin during frequent land-water changes.
Due to its high proportion of Lycra with an UV protection of 50+ and the long arms it reliably protects the skin from dangerous UV radiation in summer and (in combination with moisture) at the same time provides a pleasant cooling effect. In cooler seasons the long-sleeved shirt can be worn as the first layer or under a jacket or dry suit (possibly in combination with further insulation).
The shirt itself has no thermal properties in wet state such as neoprene, PU fleece or Aquashell. It is not wet clothing for cold water or low temperatures.
