The Anfibio Omega C2B+ is a so-called self-bailer (‘B’ stands for Bailing) which allows entering water to drain from the inside. This means that the boat remains manoeuvrable even in strong rapids. The Anfibio Omega C2B+ is manufactured exclusively in the Plus(+) material variant for higher demands in white water.
However, the Omega's versatility and good handling characteristics also apply to calm river trips and still waters such as lakes and canals. It is a fully-featured double, but can also be used as a single. Depending on the area of use and personal preference, both double paddles and single-blade-paddles can be used in the according seating position.

Features and functions
Floor mat
The inflatable floor mat is included with the Anfibio Omega C2B+. It stiffens the hull and increases buoyancy.
Note: To set up the boat, first position the uninflated mat as far forward as possible in the uninflated boat. Then first inflate the mat and then the boat (using an inflation bag and hand pump).
VenturiTube
This is a bailing hole with a sealable tube (VenturiTube) in the stern of the boat. To use the bailing function, the tube must be open. Water then drains off from the inside, so no spraydeck is required. The use of the floor mat is a requirement for self bailing.
Flexi-Seat-System
The Flexi-Seat system allows different seating positions to be set up depending on the floor mat. It consists of two block seats, two backrests and special side attachment loops.
With floor mat – lower seating position, suiting double bladed paddles (kayak style)
Advantages: +stable and safe water position +comfortable seating position +especially recommended for white water
The block seats are directly positioned on the floor mat, jammed between the tubes. This provides a lower centre of gravity, so the boat lays stable in the water, which is of advantage particularly in white water. Backrests are attached to the top of the boat via the side loops. This configuration is typically used in kayak style with double-bladed paddles, even alone. However, it can also be used canoe style with two single-bladed paddles.
Without floor mat – higher seating position, suiting single-bladed paddles (canoe style)

The block seats are directly attached to the top of the boat using the side loops. Backrests are not applied. This provides a comfortable seating height and storage space for luggage under the seats, which is of advantage particularly on long-distance trips. The boat set up is very light Overall. Ideally, you should use this configuration in canoe style with two single-blade paddles. However, it can also be used in kayak style with two double bladed paddles or solo.
Cargo transportation
The Anfibio Omega C2B+ offers four lashing points at the front and four at the rear, providing appropriate space for transporting luggage on bow and stern. The higher seating position (without floor mat) also provides storage space and fastening points under the seats.
In the model with TubeBags, two waterproof luggage zips with directly attached, airtight inner pockets provide additional storage space of 100 litres each inside the tubes.
- This creates the necessary space for the lower seating position (with floor mat) and increases the overall capacity of the boat
- The system is highly resistant to dirt and wear, as the zip does not have to be airtight for the design
- The luggage is positioned with a low centre of gravity, automatically secured against slipping and protected from moisture
Note: To set it up, first stow the luggage, e.g. load the inner pockets, then close the zips and inflate the main air chamber. When deflating, open the main valve first! Then unzip and unload the luggage.
For easy opening and closing, it is necessary to lubricate the zip with the enclosed silicone grease for the first time and at regular intervals. Do not lubricate the teeth themselves, but only the outer side laminated with urethane, open and close several times and wipe off any residue with a cloth, otherwise particles may stick to the teeth.
Last but not least, it is also possible to sit on the luggage itself both with and without the floor mat, thus saving weight and space on the seats.
Finmounts
One or two skegs (directional fins) can be attached to the bow and/or stern using pre-installed mounts. This improves directional stability and reduces drift in crosswinds. We recommend the use of skegs in sufficiently deep and calm water.
Caution: Fin and bailing tube (VenturiTube) must not be used together. First, the tube blocks the fin (no effect or even resistance) and second, the fin can damage the bailing tube. With the fin, the bailing tube should be pulled inwards.
Material
The Anfibio Omega C2B+ is made from special fabric (TPU nylon), which is highly tear and abrasion resistant despite its low weight. In particular, the smooth, shiny surface of the coating is very scratch-resistant. The Anfibio Omega C2B+ is only available in the Plus(+) material version. The Plus(+) version of our TPU nylon is 17% heavier than our standard material, but 80% stronger thanks to higher weave density, stronger fibres and increased layer thicknesses.
Workmanship
All seams on the boat are welded, the tube seams are additionally stitched. Ther are no glued joints at all. This saves weight, costs and protects the environment! Repair
In the (unlikely) event of damage we recommend LifePatch or Patch'n Go Tape. This allows repairs in the field within a few minutes. Small perforations can also be treated with small amounts of Aquasure.
