The Anfibio FootRest is an inflatable footrest that can be used to adjust the inner length of the packraft to individual body size and proportions. The use of the footrest gives a defined contact surface between the forward tapering tubes, which supports the feet and ensures a more comfortable paddling position. The defined counter-pressure also has a positive effect on boat control. The shortened overall inner length of the packraft allows the knees to bend more and therefore improves the fit of the thigh straps. The Anfibio FootRest is attached with a strap either to the floor mat or to the safety loop at the front of the packraft, so that it cannot be lost in the case of capsizing. Without a floor mat, the footrest slides under the tube and therefore shortens the overall internal length of the packraft less than when used with a floor mat. This should be taken into account when selecting the size. The footrest is available in two different sizes to suit different leg lengths and sitting positions. The size of the footrest can be varied slightly by inflating it to different strengths. The smaller size (27 cm long) effectively shortens the packraft by approx. 12-25 cm, depending on the model and whether you are paddling with or without a floor mat. With the larger footrest (37 cm long), it can be assumed that the internal length of the Packraft will be shortened by approx. 25-35 cm. To determine the correct size, it is advisable to simulate the dimensions of the footrest in your own packraft beforehand (e.g. with a cushion or similar). After deflation, the footrest can be rolled up with the boat. Suitable for all packrafts!
